The Gyronimo Performance Pad for Cessna 182P offers a comprehensive tool for flight planning, emphasizing accuracy and ease of use. Compatible with iPad 3 and newer models, including the iPad Mini Retina, it facilitates performance calculations based on data from the Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH).

Users can quickly perform calculations and interpolations of critical performance parameters directly from actual POH data. The application enables swift completion of flight planning tasks, with instant updates reflected through high-resolution graphics optimized for iPad 2 and later.

Adjusting key variables is simplified via intuitive sliders, allowing for rapid experimentation and scenario analysis to determine optimal cruise altitude, takeoff ground roll, landing distance, climb performance, and stall speeds.

The Performance Pad features seven primary pages:

• 1. Mass & Balance Page: Computes aircraft Center of Gravity, moments, takeoff weight, zero fuel weight, and % MAC. Users can input personnel and baggage weights via sliders, view graphical CG envelopes—Moment, CG envelope, aircraft axes—and generate a load manifest to email as proof of compliance.
• 2. Takeoff Page: Calculates ground roll and landing distance based on parameters such as aircraft weight, pressure altitude, outside air temperature, runway conditions—including slope—and wind components. The embedded Wind Components tool facilitates quick determination of headwind or tailwind effects by rotating the dial according to actual wind data.
• 3. Climb Page: Determines time, fuel consumption, and distance required for climbs considering altitude differences, temperature, pressure settings, and wind components. The Rate of Climb and Climb Speed are also displayed for operational reference.
• 4. Cruise Page: Assists in selecting optimal cruise altitude based on trip distance, engine RPM, temperature, wind conditions, and pressure altitude. It calculates break horsepower (% BHP), fuel flow rates, true airspeed, and displays maximum range options graphically. Fuel management features include input for reserve times for contingency planning with visual fuel consumption displays. Fuel efficiency metrics are provided in miles per gallon and liters per 100 km for contextual understanding.
• 5. Landing Page: Similar to the takeoff page, it computes landing distances taking into account variables such as wind, elevation, and runway conditions. The Wind Components calculator is available for rapid assessment of wind effects on landing performance.
• 6. Stall Speed Page: Calculates stall speeds considering bank angles and flap configurations using actual POH data; results are presented in both KIAS and KCAS formats.
• 7. Setup: Allows users to save up to five aircraft configurations or scenarios, send performance summaries via email, and access tutorials through linked video content.

The software supports iPad 2 (recommended iOS 6) and newer devices. It offers a robust suite of tools designed to streamline flight planning with accuracy rooted in official aircraft data.
